Evelyn Gilliard is graduating next month from Capella University with an M.S. in I/O Psychology. She has a B.A. from the University of South Florida and an A.A. from the State College of Florida where she repeatedly made the Dean’s List at both institutions. While attending Capella University, Evelyn serves as a member of the Social Media and Marketing Committee for Blacks in I/O Psych and as a Team Dynamics Intern for Tianna Tye, Co. At Tianna Tye, Co., Evelyn assists her clients, publishes blog posts and podcasts and will be airing on an episode of TyePod. Evelyn is a member of the PSY-CHI Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success while holding a 3.5 GPA. Evelyn is also a member of the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and recently won a free certification in 360-Degree Feedback while attending SIOP’s annual conference.
Evelyn is seeking a full-time position upon graduation in the areas of psychometric assessments, training and development, or organizational development. She would also enjoy a more client-facing consultant role. Evelyn believes that her values come from her ambitious drive to learn as much as possible and her friendly, dependable attitude. She has experience creating deliverables, meeting deadlines, working with clients, creating employee engagement surveys, and training and development. Ultimately, Evelyn wants to positively impact employees and employers alike to make decisions based on best practices that will lead to a happier workforce.
